ABOUT THIS HERB
A Timeless Leaf, Enjoyed Around the World
From one small leaf comes one of the world's most celebrated drinks. Green tea comes from Camellia sinensis — the same remarkable plant that gives us black, white and oolong teas — with the way the leaves are handled after harvesting creating its distinctive fresh character.
-
Add 1 teaspoon of loose green tea to a cup or infuser. Pour over water at approximately 70–80°C and steep for 2–3 minutes before straining.
Avoid freshly boiling water, as very hot water or over-steeping can make green tea taste more bitter.
